On the 9th May 2014 I will be setting off on my own journey of a lifetime, motorcycling around the world to raise funds & awareness for five chosen charities.

St Christopher's Hospice, 
The Royal British Legion,

The Children's Trust, &

The Lymphona Associaton.


My chosen steed will be a sportsbike like you see going around a track, rather than the usual 'Long Way Round' style of touring machine. I'll be visiting every motoGP track around the world and completing a lap of each one, where possible, on the bike I'm riding around the world.

Along the way I'll be visiting the various projects affiliated with each of my charities and helping out where I can.

The route:

So far the route includes the following countries;
UK, France, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Lativa, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Russian federation, Mongolia, Russia, Japan, South Korea, India, Burma, Laos, Vietnam, Kampuchea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, South America (exact route not yet defined as no affiliated projects have been located at this time), Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, USA (all over including Alaska), Canada, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, & back to mainland UK.

That's an estimated 80,000 miles in around 12 months. I'll be taking the bike from race track to road, road to dirt track, dirt track to desert, desert to jungle and beyond.
