It is estimated that as many as 15million children die or remain severely ill every year through potentially treatable or preventable cardiac diseases. Chain of Hope exists to provide children from developing countries affected by life-threatening heart disease with the treatment to save their lives

Story

I am raising money for Susan Andrews who tragically died June 2007. She was working for the Chain of Hope when she died in  in a car accident. Susan was a superb nurse and often gave up her time to work voluntarily for the charity.

Susan was a close school friend of Alexa (my wife, pictured with here with Susan) and it was a great  privilege to have her as our bridesmaid at our wedding in August 2006.

She is desperately missed but her memory lives on.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Chain of Hope gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Many thanks, Tom
