About our challenge:

We are going to each Walk / Run (crawl!) 24 miles over a 24 hour period, completing 1 mile in each hour.

The difficult part will be;

a) not giving up because of blisters / tiredness and the monotony of walking the same route 24 times; and

b) given that we are likely to be tired and have blisters, not
becoming extremely grumpy in the face of blisters, monotony and not enough  sleep!

Why are we doing this?

We are doing this as part of the overall telent 1100 challenge which aims to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support

About Macmillan Cancer Support:

By 2020, almost one in two of us will get cancer in our
lifetimes. It’s the toughest fight most people will ever face. But they
don’t have to go through it alone. The Macmillan team is there every
step of the way. From the nurses and therapists helping people through
treatment to the campaigners improving cancer care.

Our ambition is to reach everyone affected by cancer – but we can’t do this alone.

The number of people with cancer is growing every day. Macmillan wants to reach and improve the lives of every one of those people so
that no one has to face cancer alone.  More than two million people are currently living with or beyond cancer, and that number is set to rise to four million by 2030Donations make up 98% of Macmillan’s income – we simply couldn’t do what we do, and reach even more people who need our help without your vital support

Please give generously and support this worthy cause.  Your donations might not stop us getting blisters but they will spur us on through the middle of the night!
