The Mongol Rally · 14 February 2006

Ripple Effect is creating a wave of change in rural Africa. Our farmers learn, grow and sell more, releasing the potential in their land and lives. Then they pass the knowledge on, creating a wave of change across rural Africa.

Story

Three young Tenby gentlemen - Oliver Day, Tom Hemsley and Luc Jenkins - will be driving through all the way through the EU, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan to Ullaan Baator, Mongolia to raise money  for Send A Cow as part of the Mongol Rally! (www.mongolrally.co.uk). Please read the charity info slightly down and to the left.

We will be screaming off on the 22nd of July 2006 in a 1981 Ford Fiesta as pictured to complete the roughly 8,000 mile trip in 4-5 weeks. Fingers crossed.

Send a Cow will recieve £250 of our money raised and the other £750 will be split between four these four Mongolian based charities:
1) Mercy Corps
2) Wildlife Conservation Research Unit
3) Christina Noble Foundation
4) Cambridge Mongolian Disaster Appeal
