We provide family-led care and support to children with life-limiting conditions

Story

Everyone that knows me, knows that over the last couple of years I have got into cycling in a big way. One thing I haven't really done is run. To be honest, I don't really like it and ironically that is kind of how I ended up signing up for this marathon!

I started training in January and the furthest I have run as of 20th March is 6 miles. I'm not finding it easy and am having to carefully look after myself so I don't get injured. I also don't want to affect my ability to cycle on the days when I'm not running!

I'm doing the run for Martin House Hospice. They provide support to young people and their families who are dealing with live shortening illnesses. A friend/client of mine has personal experience if using their services and so I'm doing this for them too.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I've set this up now as I feel that seeing people donate to this amazing charity will help spur me on with the training!
