I will be attempting to drag my ever increasing frame round the 26 miles of the London Marathon in April 2008. I am running in memory of my mum Jan, who passed away from cancer five years ago, and to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This is a fabulous charity which supports people affected by the illness and their families.

Update - managed to get round in 3hr 59mins 35secs. Thanks so much for all the kind donations, it will be much appreciated by Macmillan and the people they help.
