Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

Sparks raises money to fund pioneering child health research across the UK, helping to find new treatments and cures for children and families who desperately need them.

Story

Terry was due to run the 2008 Flora London Marathon on April 13th but his training came to abrupt halt after breaking his foot just five weeks from the event. He landed on a pothole during a half marathon and broke his fifth metatarsal - also known as a Rooney!!The good news is that - once his plaster cast is removed - he will resume training for the 2009 Flora London Marathon. So fundraising for SPARKS will continue with a new target of £3000.Terry would like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement.Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor Terry: SPARKS will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please make a donation to this wonderful charity. Many thanks for your support.
