When we were recently filming in India, we were horrified by the number of children living rough on the streets and particularly near the main railway stations. These kids, some as young as four years old, are at great risk from gangs, employers, organised traffickers, brokers and pimps.

We have agreed to work with an established charity called EveryChild to raise funds to enable them to rescue these children from a life on the railway platforms of Bangalore. EveryChild identifies vulnerable children living on the railway platforms, provides them with a safe place to sleep and a hot meal. EveryChild also provides counselling and rehabilitation services to help the children overcome the harrowing experiences they have had. And if possible EveryChild traces the childs family and community and reunites them.
