Many thanks to all who have or are about to sponsor me. Our team of six stormed off at a cracking pace and we managed to average 3 miles an hour which is pretty decent. On the day, we were blessed with a rare window of decent weather for all but the last mile and by that time we were too numb to care. The scenery of the Derbyshire Peaks was fantastic on the occasions we took our eyes off the ground. Doing so usually lead to stumbling or sliding but it was worth it. We stomped up long, gradual hills, short steep ones and one I swear was a wall, not a hill but we made it to the end, footsore but really, really smug.
