Tough Guy Challenge · 16 December 2007

The Great North Air Ambulance Service keeps families together by saving lives. We provide critical care 365 days a year to the people of the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man.

Story

Several of the new graduates have decided to partake in the Tough Guy Challenge; a 10 mile cross country run followed by a few hours worth of assault course.

The sheer size of the assault course is simply too difficult to describe in words - it includes high walls, rope bridges, underwater tunnels, barbed wire covered trenches, running through fire pits, vaulting over very large concrete pipes and many more obstacles that cannot be done justice here.

This event is one of the hardest events in the UK with over 2000 entrants taking part. The event takes place on Sunday 27th January in Wolverhampton and we're taking part to raise money for the great north air ambulance.
