In August, together with 41 other riders, I am cycling 1200 miles in 14 days from Southampton to Rome - travelling across France, over the Alps and down through Italy.

This will be the fourth time that my dad (67) and I will have completed such a challenge with this group, and this will be by far the longest and hardest challenge to date. We all continue to do these things in order to support a charity that is very important to us. Cancer has been cruel to many people that we know and love, but every year research into new methods of diagnosis and treatment mean that fewer and fewer people will have to go through this in the future.
