Did you know that last year 733,000 dogs and cats were killed in our nation’s animal shelters simply because they didn’t have a safe place to call home? Best Friends Animal Society is committed to bringing an end to homeless pets in America and, since 2013, MINI has partnered with Best Friends to support this effort.

As passionate as MINI Owners are about their cars, they are equally passionate about pets with an estimated 65% of MINI drivers being pet owners.

The goal is clear: to end the killing of dogs and cats in Americas animal shelters and bring the country to no-kill by the year 2025. Best Friends believes the best way to accomplish this is by building lifesaving programs and partnerships across the nation. MINI has partnered with Best Friends since 2013, raising both awareness and funds.

Please help us raise funds for this important animal rescue effort as we rally across America in our 2017 Mini Clubman featuring the image of a fellow rescue animal, Stitch from the Disney film Lilo and Stitch. Stitch realizes that the Hawaiian concept of Ohana (family) extends to animals as well as people. Our two rescue dogs are certainly happy in their adoptive home and are part of our Ohana.
