Story

There is no challenge to big for The Thames Mountaineers who will be taking on the challenge of climbing Cribyn (Wales) as part of the WaterAid Corbett Challenge. The challenge is to put a team of walkers on the top of all 110 Corbetts in England and Wales on Saturday 16 September 2006. The special team will include an experienced marathon running camel called Humphrey.

Update: The Team conquered Cribyn at 12:05pm Saturday, then moved on to climb Pen y Fan and Corn Du. We received £80 in donations from the friendly walkers and took many photos with our new friends. For those of you looking for video evidence of humphrey climbing...here it is. we met a male choir at the summit who sang with Humphrey. See Humphrey's website for stories from the day...
