Story

UPDATE UPDATE....DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS OUR CHALLENGE HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THE 12th OCTOBER, THIS WAS ANOTHER BLOW! BUT WE WILL BE RARING TO GO ON THE 12th.... The 'Coastbusters' are a team of 7 rowers whose ages range from 19 to a lot older! Who will be attempting to row 22 miles on the English Channel on the 14th September 2013 to raise money for the AHOY Centre, a London based charity that provides water activities to people of all ages and abilities. We want to raise a significant sum to help them in their important work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds or disabilities to give them life opportunities through sailing and rowing activities. In doing so it aims to break down social barriers, broaden horizons and develop skills that are essential for future life and employment.

The Channel Row is a big physical challenge but The Ahoy Centre is a real inspiration and we want to raise the money to help their work.

But we need your help! Whilst we get busy rowing it would be great if you would get busy donating. We have a big target to achieve and will need plenty of support, SO PLEASE BE GENEROUS!
