My story

Welcome to The Executive Network's fundraising page (www.theexecutivenetwork.org.uk).  We are a networking body of senior business executives who are proud to support the MicroLoan Foundation and have set ourselves the challenge of raising £100,000 for this UK-based microfinance charity.  The money will be used to fund the establishment of a branch in either Mozambique or Namibia.

MicroLoan (www.microloanfoundation.org.uk) provides small loans, business training and ongoing mentoring to women in sub-Saharan Africa.  It helps some of the poorest people in the world.  This joint fundraising challenge will be for MicroLoan and The Executive Network’s mutual benefit.  It will develop MicroLoan’s work in Africa whilst providing members of The Executive Network with opportunities to exchange skills, network, and benefit from mutual PR & publicity exposure.

Through using the power of networking to fundraise across the business community, we aim to give more women in Africa the opportunity to set up their own business and become self-sufficient.  Thank you for your support.
