This is the latest idea in a long list of daft ideas. This time I am taking part in the Mongol Rally in my 1.5l Nissan Almera. This is a charity rally that sets off from Goodwood racetrack on the 24^th July 2010, driving a third of the way around the world to Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia. My car is then donated to the charity on arrival. I hope to take 3-4 weeks to complete the rally, or I may not have a job to come back too!

The rally raises vital funds for the charity Mercy Corps. This may not be the most well known charity, however Mercy Corps carries out vital work in the poorest countries of the world. My proposed route passes through the following countries; France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Southern Russia, Kazakhstan, Russia for a second time, ending in Mongolia.
