In 2007 Hannah and Lisa set off to sail around the world, when they returned in 2008 both girls vowed to take on a new challenge each year that would push them out of their comfort zone and enable them to learn new skills.  Their aim was to use these challenges to help raise funds for charity.  Having raise nearly £500 in early summer running a 10K for the RNLI, Hannah and Lisa are now taking on the mother of all running events, the ING New York Marathon.  This event takes place on November 1st 2009 and the girls have been training hard to convince their legs that they are capable of pounding the 26.2 mile course around NY city.
