Story
The boys are going to climb 'The 3 Peaks'. This means climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales - Ben Nevis at 4406ft, Scafell Pike at 3208ft and Snowdon at 3560ft. Not only this, but they plan to climb all 3 inside 24 hrs (including the driving in between!)
Training has a way to go - Sean's boots are just broken in, Mike's dodgy knees are strapped up, and Andrew is muttering about having to carry them both! So why are they doing this to themselves?
Just over a year ago, Mike and Cats' twins were born 11 weeks premature and taken to Buscot Ward, Royal Berks. James weighed 2lb 5oz and Phoebe weighed 2lb 11oz. Thanks entirely to the staff of Buscot and the care, both medical and emotional, that they provided, the twins came through the dangerous and traumatic early weeks. Today they are thriving, healthy and happy 1 year olds.
To help all premature babies, Buscot Ward depends primarily on private donations to provide everything from heart monitors and incubators to syringes and nappies. Buscot Ward needs your help to ensure funds are available for future babies to be as lucky as James and Phoebe.
Thank you.
