My story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. I'm joining a group from Marie Curie Cancer Care to ascend Jebal Toubkal. As the highest point in North Africa, Mount Toubkal stands majestically at 4,167m. The adventure lasts for five days, of which three will be spent trekking and camping under the impressive backdrop of the High Atlas Mountains.
Most of us know someone, a family member or relative, a friend or a friend of a friend who has in some way been touched or affected by this terrible disease. This fundraising event is my way of giving something back to help cancer care.

Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families. It runs nine Marie Curie Hospices across the UK offering free specialist care for patients and support for families. The charity conducts palliative care research to find better ways of caring for terminally ill people and also funds scientists who investigate the causes and treatments of cancer.
