After the success of the Nano-Cycle across Europe, four of us (Jo Evangelides, James Vicary, Alex Dunlop and Craig Williams) have decided to set off on 10th July from Oslo and plan to make it all the way to the North Cape, the northern most point of Norway, some 14 days later. In all, we plan on covering 1568 miles at an average of 112 miles per day. On the way we should be treated to some of the most spectacular views and scenery that Europe has to offer. We'll experience days where the sun will not set, and possibly encounter bears...We have chosen to raise money for the British Lung Foundation as we decided that lungs would be very important to us on the cycle! Also Jo's grandfather, who reached the great age of 102, was a medical doctor specialising in chest diseases and did a lot of work with TB, so would have appreciated the support for lung research.
