Following the success of The Benevolent Day’s debut year in 2009, The Benevolent alongside the Trade’s favourite Grape and Benevolent Day mascot, Benni, will be staging The Benevolent Day 2010 on Friday 4 June.  Last year’s Benevolent Day was a huge success for the Industry, raising an unbelievable £10,000 for the Charity. 

This Day is once again all about fun, as Drinks Industry members are urged to come together and create comic relief style fundraising activities within their workplace.  However large or small, the enthusiasm and creativity of the Trade will help raise vital funds for the Charity, which will go to helping more people in need from the Drinks Industry with financial assistance.

From Champagne hoopla, blind tasting competitions, staff wine sales to guess the baby competitions, activitites in 2009 created a fun day for all involved; however if you can't join in the fun of Friday 4 June, you can still help in making The Benevolent Day a success by donating online.

All donations through JustGiving will go towards The Benevolent Day fundraising total, and if only a few pounds, all money will help the Charity to achieve its target of doubling what was raised in 2009.
