Hello
On October 3rd 2009 we are climbing Ben Nevis in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
Between us, we need to raise £3,500. To raise the funds, so far, we have done a Cake Sale which raised just over £100 and a quiz night which raised £86.00.
Still to come:
Booze raffle (date to be advised, this will be in my office, but you are more than welcome to buy raffle tickets)
Ladies night!! (Thursday 13th August at the Marle Inn)
Auction (Thursday 10th September at the Marle Inn) - Donations gratefully received!
Car Boot Sale (Sunday 23rd August) - if anyone has anything they want to get rid of, please let me know and I will arrange collection
Pamper Evening (Monday 17th August at the Marle Inn)
As well as the fun things, we have set up a Just Giving Website, which we would really appreciate it, if you would dig deep to make a donation. If any of you are not happy to do this and would rather sponsor us the old fashioned way, we have sponsor forms too. Please let me know and we can add you to the list.
If you can forward this on to your family, friends and colleagues to see if they would be kind enough to sponsor us too, that would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, these days there are very few people who have not been affected by cancer and we all want to this challenge to remember those in our lives who have battled, are still battling and have lost the battle against cancer. There are still millions of women and men and their families suffering with this illness and we want to make a difference to their future, please support us with this, it will be greatly appreciated.
And think of us on that cold October day!
