My story

I have created this page to allow people to join me in helping to prevent the extinction of bird species around the globe.  I am a Species Champion for BirdLife International, an organization whose aims are to:

  •      * Prevent the extinction of any bird species
  •      * Maintain and where possible improve the conservation status of all bird species
  •      * Conserve and where appropriate improve and enlarge sites and habitats important for birds
  •      * Help, through birds, to conserve biodiversity and to improve the quality of people's lives
  •      * Integrate bird conservation into sustaining people's livelihoods.

Donating here is simple, fast and 100% secure.  To make it easier for my US friends, I have the done the conversion from your US Dollar (USD) donation to British Pounds (GBP) for you.  A USD donation of $10 would be £6.12.  So you can figure any multiple of $10 by multiplying 6.12 by that number ($20 would be 2 x 6.12 or £12.24, etc.)
