We are running for Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, a wonderful man who fought cancer 5 times during his life and we want to help continue in some shape or form the work he did towards the end of his life! During the last 18 months of his life, and after retiring from football management, Sir Bobby worked hard towards a new goal - fighting cancer through his charity.

The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation focuses on the early detection and treatment of cancer and the clinical trials of new drugs that will eventually beat it.

As football fans, men like Sir Bobby are close to our hearts and this is from 3 Smoggies and 1 Toon fan - so we are not all balck and white. Help us make a difference for people who need it. Some of us will be out of our comfort zones, while others are being forced from the comforts of their sofas but we are joined together to reach our personal goals (to finish in one piece or to beat a PB) and to help Sir Bobby continue to reach his goal and his dream to help fight this disease.
