The Brothers are participating in the Great River Race on Saturday September 16th, paddling 22 miles along the Thames from Richmond to Greenwich. This is the equivalent to paddling the distance of the Channel....
We are raising money with our efforts for the CHASE Ben Hollioake Fund, a charity set up after the death of the England and Surrey cricketer .In association with CHASE hospice care for children, the Fund is raising money to create a centre in London that will enable them to expand on the support they already offer to life limited children and their families. These are children who are not expected to live past the age of 19 and the centre will be in Ben's name. Caring for a life limited child is one of the most difficult journeys a family will every have to face, CHASE supports them every step of the way. With no Government funding they rely totally on general charitable donation.
The Brotherhood want to help them as much as we can.
We have taken our first mission very seriously and have been training hard. We also are having our paddles blessed by the local Putney vicar and have created our own website (details at the end)
