Every year 1000s of people put on trainers and run 13 miles from Newcastle to South Shields for The Great North Run. Nothing special there. But this year is different, because this year, The Colin and Matt Show in association with HautStyle are taking part!
Presenters Colin and Matt have joined forces with one time Matt replacement, Gary Buck and token french man Christophe Duhaut (HautStyle) to prove once and for all, they can actually do something worth while.
Having done no exercise in over 5 years, never ran a half marathon, or won more than the egg and spoon in their life, this is their greatest challenge yet, and what's more, they're doing it for charity! So if they don't get to the finish line, they'll be making a lot of disabled children cry, and that's not nice.
So we ask for your support, your cheers and your money (mostly your money) to egg these four men on in their quest for fame, glory and your donations.
And as we know everyone needs a reason to part with their money in this economic climate, Team Colin and Matt will be releasing hilarious and entertaining training videos in the build up to the big event! So go on, cough up some mulah, it'll make you feel good, and make sure these wasters actually do something good for once.
