The Live Well Campaign · 31 October 2013

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Chosen Charity of the Year

Lloyds Banking Group chose Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland as its Charity of the Year Partnership for 2013 and 2014. All funds raised during the partnership will help the UK's leading dementia charity to launch 'Live Well' - its first UK-wide dementia carer’s programme. This pioneering campaign will provide life-changing support for people living with dementia, their families and carers. All money raised in Lloyds Banking Group’s Charity of the Year partnerships is through colleague fundraising.

‘the cookbook’ shall support Francis Lake and his team with their Coast to Coast cycle challenge in aid of the Live Well campaign.

‘the cook book' Idea and recipe origins

The idea of ‘the cookbook’ came from myself (Aphra Barnes) and my colleague Imran Siddique. We are part of the HR Specialist Support Team. The booklet contains recipes sourced by staff working in HR Partnering Services.  The recipes benefit from the personal experience of their contributors. Each staff member has chosen a recipe that reflects a long standing family tradition, culture or simply a family favourite to share with you. We all hope you enjoy making and consuming the tasty delights!!

How to donate

We ask that you contribute at least £2 plus any further donations if you wish. All funds can be given directly to the Lloyds Banking Group Colleague distributing ‘the cookbook’. We thank you for your donation to support the Live Well campaign.
