Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. This year the Dawn Experience will be raising funds online as well as a charity prize raffle at our BOAT PARTY WEEKENDER  which took place on 6/7th June 2008 (in celebration of Prince's 50th Birthday) in support of the NSPCC.

The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) is the UK's leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone involved behind the scenes (they know who they are) for their help into making this event the best and most successful one we've ever staged. The boat party was a personal dream of mine – thank you for making this dream real.

Thanks to the best Prince DJ’s in the world - Unique, Le Freak and ‘Dre for keeping the party rockin’ with the purple funk.

Thanks to Paddy and the rest of ENDORPHINMACHINE who put on such an incredible show. Got most of it down on video and will be sending you a copy soon.
Thanks also to Nathan Persad : The International Lover for his contribution to the night.

Thanks to the manager and staff of The Bear + the captain and the crew members of the boat for their help and patience.

Thanks to co-organiser Mike for your valuable help and advice - and for not ending up legless

Thanks to each and every one of YOU who came along, had such a great time and made the whole weekender something very special and memorable. Everyone I spoke to had a blast! Thank you all for your support.

Last (but not least), thank you Prince for providing the soundtrack to our lives. We wish you well on the 50th year of your birth.

The whole event raised a total of £750 for the NSPCC charity.... Thank you all very much for your support.

Keep donating online. Thanks once again for your support.
