Metro Radio and Magic 1152's Cash for Kids (formerly Just for Kids) supports the thousands of children across the North East of England who suffer abuse or neglect, are disabled and have special needs or who simply need extra care or guidance.We are tuned into the region and provide a helping hand when and where it is needed most.

My personal message:

I’m running 155 miles across the Sahara desert wearing a toon top, carrying 16 kgs of kit and water in temperatures of 45ºC. That’s got to be worth a few quid in sponsorship money, eh?

The lads and lasses at Just for Kids will be chuffed to bits with anything you’re able to spare.

Please note; this is not one of those cushy numbers where your fund raising will pay for my flight and race entry. I've paid all the fees already. All money raised on this site will go directly to Just for Kids.
