24 Hour Gaming Marathon · 21 November 2015

We support Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Children and Young People by giving seriously ill children and their families the extra support they need when facing a life-changing hospital visit. We speed up recovery, take away fear and provide reassurance, distraction and fun every step of the way.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be taking on The 24 hour gaming challenge again this year. At the moment I will be taking it on alone but will be inviting some of the old crew to join me in this. Not sure on the games I will be playing.

The only downside is I will be doing this a whole month later then the rest of the charity event. SO I really will be going alone this year.

So this is what I am doing it for.
Sick Kids Save Point is a 24 hour gaming marathon being held 9th-11th October 2015 to raise money for The Sick Kids Friends Foundation. This is our fifth year.
The foundation supports the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. The Hospital receives over 100,000 children through its doors each year from all over the country.* Extra comforts, which make time in hospital better for children
* Facilities
* Extra medical equipment
* Support for sick children who are cared for in the Community
* Funding for extra training and researchWe have raised over £71,000 for the charity!

this year help us push to the next level, and £100,000 !!

Also look out for the #sksp hashtag on twitter – things get pretty amusing as the marathon kicks off.
