This is the fins page for raising money for the CFT - Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
A good friend suffered and unfortunately died of CF. She will always be missed.
A friend (actually a very cute 4 year old girl!) has CF. Her life would be much easier with even more help.
Now, this is where the fun bit comes in, and exactly the reason you are looking at this site!
The event:
Basingstoke Canal Walk
Frimley Lodge Park, Frimley Green, Surrey
Sunday 6th May 2007 - 10:00 onwards
We will be walking 10k (I know its not far, but its the principle!) to raise money for the CFT.
The fins will be at the event either walking, or helping with some of the many events that are happening that day in the park.
Other bands will also be present doing their bit, plenty of playing and singing will be happening along the way...and every sponsor prior to the event
can receive a free CD and a badge!! (until we run out of them!!!
)So, get on the case. Sponsor the fins to raise at least 1000 pounds. Of course I would rather it was 10k...but I cant afford to make 1000's of CD's to give away to everyone
And dont forget to come down on the day, have a go at winning a prize on the treasure trail and join us for a picnic.
