EBID - THE TREE OF LIFE CHARITY SHOP IN AID OF CHALLENGE AFRICA
TREE-OF-LIFE-FOR-CHALLENGE-AFRICA

In 2007 I was lucky enough to visit Kenya, an amazing beautiful country  but  I could not ignore the poverty and hardship I witnessed when I was there.   I have now opened a charity shop on Ebid called THE TREE OF LIFE which supports "Challenge Africa."  ALL the profits from the sales in this shop are donated to this cause.

ABOUT CHALLENGE AFRICA
Challenge Africa supports the rural villages of Wagusu and Abimbo in Kenya East Africa where 33% of the population have HIV/AIDS.

Challenge Africa targets orphans and vulnerable children as well as providing both these villages with sustainable resources to help them help themselves, The charity is especially proud of a recently built chicken farm. The chickens are inoculated and well cared for and now provide the orphans with eggs for much needed protein.

The charity is also trying to reduce the serious infection rates of HIV/Aids through improved education.

These are only a few of the many projects Challenge Africa are currently involved in. Challenge Africa is a very small charity and completely relies on donations. The hardworking permanent members of staff in the UK work completely free alongside their existing jobs so every penny is directed to where it is  needed most.

At the heart of the African plain
