We are Luke and Neil, two Kent Police response officers who have not only policed the streets of Medway and Swale for the last 3 years but have also become great friends. Both born in Kent we are now both within our 20’s and policing the area in and around where we grew up.

Our aim is to drive a 4x4 vehicle via a journey that will take us through Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, Kazakhstan, China then Mongolia. The route taking approximately 40 days to complete covering 15,000 miles through drastically changing environments, cultures and road conditions. Not only will this be a life-changing experience for us both but the challenge is 100% in aid of charity, one of these being Demelza, Hospice Care for Children.

Once there I was able to immerse myself into what they provided for the local community, families and children. After spending just one week with them I was amazed and touched by the support and love they managed to bring to lives and situations where others struggled or merely could not. Ever since my time spent with Demelza I have always looked into what small token I may be able to give back or help in any way I possibly could.
