Thanks for coming to buy your duck(s) in the Great BI Duck Race on Friday 4th July 2008 at Nene Whitewater Centre,Bedford Road,NN4 7AA(on the A428).

1,200 little rubber yellow ducks will be heading down a 300 metre whitewater course, dodging the rapids, in a series of 4x 300 duck heats to find the ultimate winner in the 100 duck final! 

By buying a duck(s) at only £5 each (excluding tax relief), as well as gaining the feelgood factor of supporting The Parkinson's Disease Society, you could be in the running for our fabulous first prize! The winning duck may not be able to fly, but the owners will, as first prize will be TWO BRITISH AIRWAYS FLIGHTS TO ANYWHERE INEUROPE- Quack Quack!!  (economy class).

There will also be 4 heat winners, so all in all, a chance to win 1 of 5 excellent prizes!

When purhcasing your duck, ON THE 6TH PAGE OF SECURE PAYMENT, PLEASE  KEEP THE 'CONTACT PREFERENCES' BOX TICKED SO THAT I CAN CONTACT YOU AND LET YOU KNOW YOUR DUCK NUMBER(S).  IT IS ALREADY TICKED SO NO NEED FOR YOU TO DO ANYTHING.  INFORMATION WILL NOT BE USED FOR ANYTHING ELSE AND I CANNOT CONTACT YOU OTHERWISE. 

The first 25 (approx) ducks across the line will be entered into the final race of approx 100 ducks to find the ultimate winner!

If you are nearby, come on down to see the races with your family and friends at The Nene Whitewater Centre, which has been generously given to us for the afternoon without charge (so as to maximise the money raised for The Parkinson's Disease Society).  As well as the 5 races, we will have other games, barbeque, a face painter and the local fire brigade with an engine for the children to explore.  It will be a nice, relaxed, entertaining evening for everyone.  Kick off is at 4pm, with the first heat beginning 4.30pm.  Oh, and I have also booked the sun!
