Day two of The Green Mile completed, well done boys only one more to go
EDP are hosting and organising a charity bike ride from Landsend to the Lansdown in Dawlish on Friday 2nd September until Sunday 4th September 2011. There will be ten team members all riding the ‘green mile’ which will consist of 170 ‘green’ miles, all in only three days.
As EDP prides themselves in being a leader in providing environmentally friendly M & E services throughout the South West. EDP is keen to show that rising awareness of the environment outside of the workplace.
The nominated charity for the green mile bike ride is The Wooden Spoon Charity. This charity helps disadvantaged and young children by them getting active and involved in sporting activities (especially rugby) throughout the region. The Charity also again facilitates the environmental issue that EDP are trying create awareness of, by encouraging young people to be active.
