Story

On December 2nd Ed and I will be running The Grim 8.

It's an 8 mile off road slog through freezing cold water, waist deep mud, steep hills and other obstacles set up over the army tank testing ground near Aldershot.

Ok, so it's not swimming the Thames or running 5 marathons back-to-back, but those of you that know Ed and I will know that we're hardly the Brownlee brothers when it comes to fitness, so this will be a big challenge for us both!

We've decided to run not just to challenge ourselves, but also to raise money for The Down's Syndrome Association. As most of you know, our brother Tom has Down's so we want to try and raise a bit of money for a cause very close to our hearts.

It's a doddle to donate through this page and PLEASE remember to tick the Gift Aid option as this adds another 28% for the charity and costs you nothing.

Please dig deep, share the link to this page with as many people as you can, and donate now!!

About the charity

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.
