Well, here we go !
John, Bill and Neil (hence 'Jo Bi Ne') are off (their heads) pushing their finely honed, olympian physiques to the limit in their bid to raise funds for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres.
Everyone has been touched by cancer. Hopefully neither you nor any of your family and friends will ever need cancer treatment and care (for both the sufferer and their family & carers). In the sad event that you ever do, Maggies are likely to be one of the teams that you turn to for help. If you do not know about the work that Maggies do across the country, please check out their website.
Like any other charitable body, Maggies needs financial support. It is vital.
We are trying to do our bit to help, by cycling 30 miles and then hiking 43 miles, from Fort William to Inverness. Starting at 7am on Saturday 2nd May 2009, we expect to finish this trek at about 3am on Sunday 3rd (yes, about 20 hours).
