On Saturday 11th September 2010 around 40 friends and colleagues of the late Jonathan Conick will again be taking to the streets of Torfaen and walking from Blaenavon to Cwmbran to raise money for Velindre Cancer Centre.

Jon was the life and soul of our workplace ... the room lit up whenever he walked into it, bringing warmth, love and happiness to all around him … but in June 2009 he lost his 2 ½ year battle with cancer aged just 29.

In September 2009, we walked the same route and raised a massive £8,400 which was donated to the Active Support Unit of Velindre hospital as a thank you for the excellent care and support the staff provided to Jon and his family.  Let’s see if we can beat that total in 2010!!
