Tough Mudder London West · 26 April 2014 to 27 April 2014 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have formed a team to brave TOUGH MUDDER in April. It consits of half a marathon mined with SAS style assaults to test our bravery and commradery.

We have chosen to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society as so many of us have been affected by dementia and it is an area that needs our support. Please take a minute to visit www.alzheimers.org.uk to find out more.

"The word dementia describes a set of symptoms that may include memory loss and difficulties with thinking, problem-solving or language. Dementia is caused when the brain is damaged by diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease or a series of strokes. Dementia is progressive, which means the symptoms will gradually get worse."
