Thank you so much for wanting to find out more about this challenge!  Hopefully you can make a donation, this is what makes our efforts worth the while!

On Wednesday 23rd June 2010, we were asked to participate in an Extreme Marathon across a section of the West Highland Way.  Jane Talbot, (the leader of the opposition), if trying to raise £100,000 for Help for Heroes this year, and the challenges she is undertaking are nothing short of remarkable.

We are joining in with Janes efforts, by forming a team of 'Mad Men' to compete against Janes Team of 'Wild Women' by running cross country in the 'Man vs Mare' race.

None of the team at the moment are 'Marathon Fit' but we are determined to train as hard as we can in order to complete this in our best possible time, we have until October 10th 2010!

All our team backgrounds are Martial Arts, we all train in Taekwondo, with one member Michael McRobert, being in the TAGB Scotland squad (this should be no problem to him ;) ), the rest of us, well, amateur runners at the moment!

We are doing this to show our support for Help for Heroes, a worthwhile charity that support our troops that are injured in the conflicts that are around the world.  Please donate whatever you can, and remember to select the Gift aid option as well!
