THE MANIC STREET PEDLARS HIT THE ROAD ONCE AGAIN!!

On 25 September 2009 David, Paul, Sue and Curtis will embark on the Loire Extra Mile Challenge. The route will take us some 500 miles over 3 days from Rouen in North-West France via Le Mans, round the Loire Valley and finishing in Amboise.

David will be attempting to break his personal speed record down the famous Mulsanne Straight. After Paul's annoying detour around Sancerre last year he has promised not to visit any vineyards until the journey home. Sue is hoping the knee holds out!. Curtis will be putting his Iron Man experience to good use (go Curtis go!! only another 3 miles up the 1 in 4!).

On the serious note, two-thirds of the funds raised will be split between Willen Hospice and the Research Fund at the Primrose Cancer Unit in Bedford . The rest will be shared between charities selected by the organisers. This year they are MK SNAP, The Prostate Cancer Charity, RNLI and Rotary charities.
