Hi everyone!
On the 25th of April 2010, I will be running my second London marathon. I am raising money for a superb charity called 'Kith & Kids'. Over the last 40 years, this charity has been helping children and young people with learning disabilities. Many of the people they support, also have physical or sensory disabilities as well. Along with a large team of dedicated volunteers, they offer an annual summer camp, various social development projects, an 'employability and life skills project' and constant support. In conjunction to this, they also provide help and support for the families of those affected by disability, this is so important, as many can feel isolated and alone in their situation.
Overall, this is a fantastic charity, and it's a cause very close to my heart. Please make a donation and help me achieve my £1500 target, I can't do it without your support! I am running this marathon dressed as Princess Leia, and will be accompanied by two other Star Wars characters! As well as the marathon in april, I'm also running the Tunbridge Wells half marathon at the end of february - see, really pushing the boat out this year!
