Story

Sat 31st July 2010

Hi all! Well, we arrived safely in Rome yesterday at 6:30 pm. Despite bizarrely heavy rain and thunderstorms, overheating in Italy, loss of a hubcap driving over the Stelvio Pass, tiredness and very warm weather, we are all still friends and enjoyed a day in Rome together today. Dave is on his way home, I'm driving the car home next week, and Rod is flying home on Wednesday.

We're really grateful to you all for the support, interest, donations and encouragement. Thank you so much x

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are Adam Beresford-Browne, Rod Cubbin and Dave Cowdroy from the Underdale area of Shrewsbury. We're taking part in a fun road rally in July 2010 (http://www.home2rome.com/rally.esp?PG=about) and have decided to raise awareness and money for Hope House Hospice while we do it - http://www.hopehouse.org.uk/

We have been planning this since last Autumn, and have just secured our vehicle for the trip. Over the coming months you can follow our plans and progress by visiting our blog - http://themightyshrews.wordpress.com

We have joined facebook using the name "Home ToRome", so if you're on there too, please add us as a friend and suggest us to all your friends! :)

If you want to contact us, we'd love to hear from you. Our email address is themightyshrews@yahoo.co.uk.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, wish us luck!
