Myself , Kenny and our good friend Jonny  are taking part in a Sprint Triathalon at Tatton Park, Knutsford on 8th September 2012.

The distances are a 750m open water swim ( a challenge in itself for me as I have a fear of fish !!) This is followed by a 19 kilometer cycle and finished off with a 5 kilometer run.

 

We will be doing this to help raise funds for The Christie Hospital in Manchester.

The Christie Hospital delivers top quality Cancer Care as well as being a centre for Education and Cancer Research .

In 2008 my dad was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, but thankfully due to the fantastic facilities and staff of The Christie Hospital, his life was saved. We cannot thank them enough . . . . . .but we can try and give a little back. Please help us to support them and help to save lives.
