When Theo went into hospital, his parents were able to stay in the Sick Childrens Trust's accommodation at St James Hospital, Eckersley House. Being two minutes from his bedside gave great comfort to Simon and Rebecca as did the mutual support of being with other parents in the same boat.

By donating money to the Trust, you can help ensure that other parents are able to make use of these facilities in their hour of need.

The run was great fun with a real team atmosphere amongst both runners and supporters. Thanks go to all those who ran and to those who were waiting with pots of tea and tasty snacks at the road crossings. A combination of good weather (apart from the horizontal rain coming off Great Gable) and good company made for a perfect day in the hills.

Unfortunately, Theo had to be in hospital during the weekend so he couldn't make it but, now that he's recovering, there'll be plenty of days for him and his mummy and daddy to experience the joys of being in the mountains.
