Clipper is a Round the World yacht race, split into 8 legs.

My leg is the North Pacific, sailing from Qingdao (China) to Seattle (USA) covering over 5,500 miles of open ocean and at sea for approx. 33 days with no respite. There are 11 boats racing (12 started, but one crashed into Africa and was written off...) each 70 foot long, with approx. 20 people per boat, no heating, no showers (wet wipes are the proposed solution), and only two very small toilets.
