Everyone has their own connection with cancer and I'm sad to say that I have lost a series of friends to cancer, most recently Geoff Thomas of Mumbles Cricket Club and Swansea City AFC. However I wish to pay tribute to the incredible strength and courage that my friends and their families have shown in the face of it by putting myself through the Great Welsh Marathon. Those who know me will know that I am already a keen runner but let me tell you the training for this has been tough. Please sponsor me for Ty Olwen, who give patients and their families strength and dignity in the face of cancer.
