ING New York City Marathon 2009 · 1 November 2009 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

On Sunday 1st November 2009, we will be running 26.2 miles from Staten Island to Central Park via Brooklyn, Queens and TheBronx.

We would like to show some support to ‘The Stroke Association’ which is meaningful to us after our dad suffered a stroke in 2006. We are very fortunate in that he recovered fully and remains is good health, but we thought we would raise some money to help those who have to deal with the day to day challenges that stroke victims have to endure.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Stroke Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
