It's true! I have agreed to run/stumble/shuffle my way around the Great North Run again this year. And like last time, it should be the perfect opportunity to shift those extra couple (!) of pounds and finally give up the B&H Silvers! However this year, I do have extra motivation....... I have been devastated by my Mums death of lung cancer in November 2007. My Mum was and always will be so important in my life, I love her so much. Words cannot begin to explain how soul destroying it is. Lung cancer is the second most common cancer in the UK, with 40,000 new cases every year. There is no 'cure' for it. There is no 'nice' treatment. Please support me, my Mum and everybody else affected by lung cancer.
