Story

Hello and thank you for visiting The Professional Footballers' Association group fundraising page.

On 14th to 17th June 2012 John Bramhall Deputy Chief Executive and novice cyclist Seniors; Matthew Buck, Head of PFA Player Management Agency and novice cyclist, escaping twin baby girls!; Jim Hicks, Head of PFA Coaching Department and novice cyclist Seniors and Nick Cusack, Senior Executive and Intermediate/Advanced cyclist, Olympic hopeful! will be representing the PFA in the Football League’s Arch to Arc London to Paris bike ride raising money for the charity, Help the Hospices.

Whilst this journey can be completed in 3 hours on Eurostar, the intrepid quartet will be cycling the gruelling 246 miles over 3 days, starting underneath the Wembley Stadium Arch and finishing at the Arc de Triomphe, Paris. Averaging more than 80 miles of cycling per day, we will also be climbing a total of 12,477 feet; the equivalent of cycling up Mount Snowdon three and a half times! With the team having had less than two months to train and prepare this is a serious challenge they will need all the support you can afford!

The money raised will go to Help the Hospices in order to support the incredible work carried out by hospices across the UK. You can watch a video about their work at www.helpthehospices.org.uk/about-us. Anything you are able to donate will make a huge difference so please be as generous as possible.

Thank you for your support.
